The Mushroom Soap Bar
This smokey, woody soap was originally made as a limited edition for an exhibition. The Mushrooms Bar quickly became one of our bestsellers and is now part of the core collection.
The famous chaga mushroom grows on birch trees throughout the northern hemisphere. Chaga helps these trees stay healthy and vibrant—it produces comparable benefits for our skin too. One of the most potent sources of melanin, it contains a number of important minerals, such as potassium and calcium.
The nutrient-dense chaga has an innate ability to restore elasticity to the skin. It incites the restoration and regeneration of skin cells, making skin appear refreshed and younger. Its unique form of betulinic acid heals, moisturises and tones dry, irritated and inflamed skin, leaving it soft, supple and smooth.
Your skin is your body’s largest organ. When we bathe, we exfoliate to remove toxins that your body excretes throughout the day. The Mushrooms Bar is the perfect aid for this ritual. Each bar is approximately 100g
Lather the soap in your hands and apply generously to the face and body. The soap is gentle enough to be used every day.
Our cold-processed method of production preserves the goodness of our natural ingredients. To ensure your bar lasts longer, keep it dry between uses by placing it in a dish that allows air to circulate and water to drain away.
Each bar is handmade, cured and packaged in London with intention and care. Each bar is hand cut and entirely unique.
Most of our bars share the same base of olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter and castor oil. We use highly pigmented natural ingredients to add colour to our bars. Tanaka soap is made in small batches and is always left to cure for 4 weeks.

General informations:
All deliveries are made by Royal Mail, UPS or DPD depending on the size & weight. All parcels are sent using a signed or tracked service. Please note that if you order more than one item, they may be shipped separately or together size & weight dependent.
Once payment is cleared we usually process parcels within 2 working days. We aim to deliver orders to the UK within 3-5 working days (excluding public holidays) and our store holidays. During busy times shipping can take a little longer.
